We’ve ended the year with our last one week “taster” course for 2017.
Ten students have enjoyed the pre-Christmas course, learning DIY skills that they can usefully take home with them.
Some one-week students have been on several courses with us, gradually building up their confidence and skills.
Others combine the course with a longer holiday in Scotland, recently voted by Rough Guides to be the most beautiful country in the world.
And some come on the course to see whether professional woodworking really is for them and, if so, to enrol in our 30-week immersive course.
A couple of students on this year’s professional course are previous one-week students, and one of this week’s students has already enrolled for our main 2018/19 course.
The added advantage for them is that the course fees for the short course are fully reimbursed.
A short course at the Chippendale school makes for a fun and rewarding week, and perhaps a first step to a new future in professional woodworking.
Or, for that special someone in your life, why not give the gift of woodworking? Details of our short courses for 2018 can be found here.
