Spring has finally come to the Chippendale school, with blue skies, warm sunshine…and summer just around the corner.
It’s also the time of year for new beginnings, when many people are thinking about the future and how they can best pursue their ambitions.
So if your passion is woodworking and you’d like to turn fine furniture design and making into a new career, now is the time to think seriously about it.
But don’t take too long because our final, final Early Bird discount flies the nest at the end of this month.
This discount gives you £750 off our 30-week professional course fees, but it only lasts until 30th April. To qualify for the discount, all you have to do is register with us before the end of April.
It’s worth remembering that applicants to the Chippendale school don’t need to have academic qualifications or to have had previous woodworking experience – so don’t worry if you don’t know a chisel from a hammer.
We know that few people have access to woodworking equipment, so we don’t expect any DIY proficiency. We’ll give you all the skills you’ll need to set up in business – teaching you in one year what other furniture schools will do in three years.
It’s therefore an intensive learning experience at the Chippendale school, so what we’re looking for from applicants is a real passion for furniture design, an ambition to work creatively, and a positive commitment to hard work.
We’ll handle all your immigration and visa requirements and, before you get here, we’ll have high-quality local accommodation in place – to suit your individual needs and budget.
And because our students are of all ages, and come from many different countries, our student support package also means that you don’t have to worry about transport, doctors and dentists. We’ll sort all that out, leaving you to concentrate on the course.
But it’s not all hard work. We also have a programme of social events throughout the year and, set within gorgeous countryside and with Edinburgh on our doorstep, there’s more than enough time to enjoy what Scotland has to offer.
We are more than happy to answer any questions either by email or phone. If you like, you can even set up a Skype call from the home page of our website.
So what are you waiting for?
