Our Introductory Course

For anyone looking for an introduction to woodworking, we run one-week Introductory courses several times a year. These short courses are run over a five-day period, Monday to Friday and provide an introduction to a whole range of woodworking skills and techniques.

Course Details

  • A general introduction to woodworking
  • How to make:
    • A hardwood box with a wooden hinge
    • A small wooden upholstered stool
    • A turned bowl on the lathe
  • An introduction to finishing

We are pleased to announce our Introductory Course dates for 2022.

  • Mon 4th – Fri 8th April 2022 (fully booked)
  • Mon 27th June – Fri 1st July 2022
  • Mon 12th – Fri 16th Sept 2022

The fee for each short course is £850, with a £200 non-refundable deposit payable to secure your place, with the balance payable one month before the start of the course.
