Brian Crozier is originally from the Scottish Borders but has lived in Edinburgh since 1999. He previously worked as a social worker and mental health officer.
However, after 18 years in a highly demanding job, Brian concluded that it was time for a change.
He first came to visit the school in the spring of 2017 before enrolling on one of our one-week introductory courses that summer.
One of the great advantages of the introductory course is that, if you decide to enroll on a professional course, the introductory course fees are deducted.
Brian is keen to explore the numerous different aspects of woodworking and furniture making throughout the course. He is particularly keen to try out steam bending of hardwoods for the first time.
Following the course Brian would like to specialise in the design and manufacture of sheds and shepherd’s huts – which are becoming increasingly popular for everything from garden offices to holiday accommodation.
