Anne Maree Wallace from Edinburgh has her son to thank, or to blame, for being our latest one-month intermediate student.
As a present, she bought him a place on one of our one-week introductory courses last summer.
However, because of pressures of work, he couldn’t take up the place – so she did the course instead.
Anne Maree, a former public health doctor, and now an executive coach and mentor liked the experience so much that she enrolled onto the intermediate course.
She wants to learn the skills and techniques to take her new-found hobby to the next level and, as part of her coursework, will be making an oak and yew console table.
